SUNNYSIDE CEMETERY, St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida

Notes: Sunnyside Cemetery is located between 19th and 20th Streets on 54th Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida. Established In 1880. As was the practice in this era, the first property owner, Nathaniel Ellis, buried family on his property. Thus the cemetery became known as Ellis Graveyard. In early 1900's the cemetery was sold to Mr. John O'Berry and in 1905 the Sunnyside Cemetery Association was formed. Anderson McQueen Funeral Home purchased the cemetery in 1984 and remain the current managers. Anderson McQueen Funeral Home is providing Pinellas Genealogy Society with yearly updates on interments. .
